چکیده

Software evolution and its laws are essential for antifragile system design and development. In this paper we model early-stage perfective and corrective changes to software system architecture in terms of logical operations of expansion and safe contraction on a theory. As a result, we formulate an inference-based notion of property specification resilience for computational systems, intended as resistance to change. The individuated resilient core of a software system is used to characterize adaptability properties. c © 2015 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V. Effects of Aggregate Gradation on Resilient Modulus and CBR in Unbound Granular Materials

Resilient modulus and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) in unbound granular materials are the key technical characteristics of layers in a flexible pavement design. Among the factors affecting these two parameters, the aggregate gradation is the most important. Using particle size distribution curve developed by AASHTO, together with other considerations mentioned in the related regulations have y...

A Technique to Guide and Measure the Reduction of a Processed Mandibular Complete Denture for Resilient Soft Liner

A resilient soft liner (RSL) has been used in processed complete dentures but controlling its thickness has always been a challenge because of uneven reduction of the denture’s intaglio surface. Use of a thermoplastic vacuum-formed template and an endodontic K-file, as guides, for the reduction of a processed mandibular complete denture to receive RSL is described in the present report. A proce...

A Resilient MAC Protocol for Wireless Networks

The IEEE 802.11 is a set of media access control (MAC) and physical layer (PHY) specifications for implementing wireless local area network (WLAN). The protocol was designed with the implicit assumptions that nodes would always follow the protocol rules and regulations. There was no provision to check for compliance with these rules, neither was there any provision to enforce such compliance. C...
